About the role

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to join the leadership team at Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta. Provide leadership and management for the Food & Beverage Division by establishing plans of character, integrity, and quality, which result in the long-range continued growth, and profitability of the division and Hotel. This pivotal role oversees the day-to-day F&B operations, with a strategic focus on elevating guest experience, operational excellence, and team performance.

What you will do

• Support the Hotel Manager in managing all F&B operations, ensuring consistency, service excellence, and alignment with Four Seasons standards.

• Drive commercial success, lead and inspire our outlet managers and teams, promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Identifying and implementing strategies to enhance revenue, manage costs, and maximize efficiency across all F&B outlets.

• The ability to be visible in the operation, recognize and maintain relationships with regular guests as well as cultivate relationships with new patrons through effective marketing and personal relationships.

• Ensure full compliance with company standards, health & safety regulations, and all relevant operating procedures.

• Collaborate closely with Culinary, Sales, Marketing, and Events teams to deliver seamless and elevated experiences for leisure, corporate, and social guests.

• Contribute to innovation in menus, concepts, and guest experiences, ensuring our offerings remain fresh and exciting.

What you bring

• Minimum 2 years’ leadership experience in related position with luxury hospitality, hold a strong foundation in Food & Beverage operations.

• Proven track record of leading high performing teams and delivering commercial success.

• Deep understanding of luxury service standards and a strong guest centric mindset.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams, to negotiate resources and influence stakeholders, and to gain acceptance of and commitment to plans, ideas, initiatives, etc.

• Strategic thinker with business - operational acumen and attention to detail.

• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.

• Computer literate  

• Flexible and adaptable, able to work irregular hours, weekends, and holidays as required.

Schedule & Hours: 

• This is a full-time position 

• The working hours will primarily be daytime, during weekdays and weekends if needed
