ABOUT THE JOB
As the Director, Supply Chain Finance Developments & M&A (internally known at Anduril as Director, Supply Chain Partnerships), will facilitate collaboration between Corporate Development, Finance & Accouting, and Supply Chain teams to drive strategic-initiatives that enhance growth, operational efficiency, and market competitiveness. This is a key leadership role reporting to the VP of Supply Chain, requiring strong experience and understanding of both corporate strategy and supply chain operations.
- Market Analysis
- Collaborate with Corporate Development team to analyze market rends and identify potential acquisition or investment targets that align with critical supply chain capabilities
- Integration Planning
- Lead supply chain integration planning during M&As
- Supplier Collaboration
- Partner with Corporate Development to negotiate strategic partnerships with key suppliers to enhance supply chain resilience and innovation
- New Product Development
- Coordinate efforts to align supply chain capabilities with new product introduction, ensuring readiness for market launch
- Risk Assessment
- Partner with Corporate Development to conduct joint risk assessments to evaluate geopolitical and supply chain risks related to:
- New market or partnerships
- Mid/long-term Divisions scaling constraints
- Supplier sole sourcing
- Sub-tier supplier constraints
- Partner with Corporate Development to conduct joint risk assessments to evaluate geopolitical and supply chain risks related to:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, supply chain management, or a related technical field
- 10+ years of experience in strategic supply chain and corporate development, with strong consulting and finance background
- 5+ years of experience managing a team of supply chain professionals
- Experience with specific commodity technical expertise as applicable. i.e. PCBA manufacturing, IPC standards, SMT processing, CAD, GD&T
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters or doctorate degree in engineering or supply chain management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
