What this job involves:

We're seeking an Internal Communications Systems Manager  who will serve as the strategic driver and technical expert behind the digital platforms that connect and engage JLL's global communications. This role blends platform management expertise with communication strategy, using data insights and user experience that inform and inspire our colleagues worldwide.

The Internal Communications Systems Manager operates as both a platform specialist and digital strategist, managing our enterprise communication tools, optimizing how systems work together, and exploring emerging technologies including AI and collaboration applications. This role requires strong technical skills with Microsoft 365, email platforms, and analytics tools, combined with an ability to create digital experiences that work seamlessly for diverse global audiences while driving real engagement.

Reporting to the Director of Internal Communications, Content & Channels, this role supports our digital channel strategy by combining platform expertise, data-driven decision-making, and innovative thinking to connect our people at scale.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Manage and optimize JLL's communication platforms including Poppulo email system, SharePoint 365 intranet (Connect), Viva Engage, digital signage, and emerging AI tools to create integrated colleague experiences
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and ensure our Microsoft 365 tools work together smoothly, partnering with IT to resolve technical challenges and improve system performance
  • Dive deep in the detail of people data and segmentation in order to manage audience targeting.
  • Oversee Connect Homepage as our digital front door, managing content organization, personalization features, and user experience across all devices
  • Manage global digital signage network, coordinating content scheduling and delivery across office locations in multiple formats
  • Support the development of dashboards using Power BI and other tools to track engagement metrics, understand user behavior, and measure platform performance across all channels
  • Help create automated reports that surface key insights, spot trends, and help the Internal Communications team make smarter decisions about our digital strategy
  • Work with our Internal Content Manager to help produce and share compelling content.
  • Work with our Internal Content Manager to drive the production of our global JLL Connected newsletter, working with multiple global stakeholders on a tight editorial cycle. Striving for high engagement and understanding key learning from performance data trends.

Required Qualifications / Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years managing enterprise communication platforms, email marketing systems, or digital workplace tools in mid-to-large organizations
  • 3+ years hands-on SharePoint 365 experience building and managing sites, including site setup, content organization, permissions, and Modern SharePoint features
  • Strong experience with enterprise email platforms (Poppulo preferred, or similar tools like Eloqua, Bananatag, Marketo) including campaign setup, audience segmentation, and performance tracking
  • Proficiency with analytics tools (Power BI, Tygraph) and ability to build dashboards, analyze data, and translate insights into action
  • Experience working with Microsoft 365 tools including Teams, Viva, and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
  • Track record managing technical projects like platform launches, system updates, or digital initiatives in complex organizations

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with large scale enterprise tools in communications or content delivery
  • Experience with digital signage or content management systems
  • Microsoft 365 or platform certifications / strong experience
  • Experience creating digital solutions for mobile or non-desk-based employees
  • Proactive and strategic thinker who can balance day-to-day platform management with long-term channel strategy development.
  • Technical proficiency combined with editorial sensibility and attention to user experience design.

  • Understanding of digital engagement trends and emerging technologies, particularly in corporate environments.

Estimated compensation for this position:

92,000.00 – 100,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
