Job Summary
The Tax Analyst Senior or Principal is responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, workpapers, and analyses; computing and recording taxes; preparing forecast, budget and regulatory information.Job Description
What You'll Do:
Prepare and/or review analyses and work papers to support the monthly recording and reporting of tax accruals including the reconciliation of tax accrual accounts. Compute taxes for special studies, accrual vs. actual adjustments, and forecasts.
Actively participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.
Respond to business unit requests for tax information, generate tax information requests and provide tax requirements.
Prepare and/or check tax schedules included in financial and regulatory reports.
Prepare and/or review federal, state and local tax returns, reports, estimates and work papers and analyses.
Preparation and/or review of asset valuation schedules, special studies, projects, forecasts, budgets, analyses and regulatory proceeding schedules.
Participate in the federal, state and local tax audit process including the preparation and review of responses to auditor questions, and review and prepare responses to audit assessments.
Research tax issues and/or questions and prepare written analysis and conclusions.
What We're Looking For:
Tax Analyst Senior or Principal
Education:
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience:
Four (4) years' in total work experience in business, finance, or accounting disciplines with two (2) years' in tax. (Tax Analyst Senior)
Five (5) years’ in total work experience in business, finance, or accounting disciplines with three (3) years' in tax. (Tax Analyst Principal)
Other Must Haves:
Professional certification (CPA,CMA,CIA) or Graduate Business Degree preferred.
Physical demand level is Sedentary.

-$87,000-$120,000 (Tax Analyst Principal)
