Our integrated model brings psychiatry, therapy, primary care, dietitians, and community support together under one roof. Leading health systems—including NewYork-Presbyterian, Cedars-Sinai, Mass General Brigham, Novant Health, and CommonSpirit—partner with us to expand this level of care.

Alongside care delivery, we are building the science and technology the field has long lacked—proprietary clinical protocols, novel measurement, and an AI-driven data platform designed for severe mental illness.

The Team

We are clinicians, operators, technologists, and scientists who chose Amae because the problem is hard and the stakes are real. We are not interested in incremental improvements to a broken system—we are redefining it.

Our teams work cross-functionally because the work demands it. The psychiatrist informs the product roadmap. Engineers understand the clinical complexity their technology must solve. Researchers sit alongside the operators running the clinics their work measures.

The Role

This role sits at the intersection of clinical operations and business strategy. As Operations Lead, Clinical Programs, you'll work directly with market leaders, clinical directors, and our central team to build the programs, processes, and infrastructure that make excellent care delivery possible—and repeatable. This role is based in San Francisco, in-person 5 days/week in Cow Hollow.

What You'll Work On

• Own the design and implementation of operational programs across care delivery—from new service line launches to care coordination workflows
• Serve as a trusted operational partner to clinical and market leadership, translating strategic priorities into executable plans
• Identify performance gaps through data analysis and structured root-cause work, then drive improvement initiatives to close them
• Build playbooks, training materials, and feedback loops that enable consistent quality across markets

What You'll Bring

• 4+ years of experience in healthcare operations, management consulting with healthcare clients, or scaling a digital health or behavioral health company
• Demonstrated ability to partner with clinical and operational leaders
• Experience designing and implementing operational programs at scale: workflows, playbooks, feedback loops, SOPs
• Strong analytical skills; you use data to diagnose problems and measure whether your solutions are working
• Startup or high-growth environment experience strongly preferred
• Clear, direct communicator; able to translate complex operational challenges for clinical, executive, and cross-functional audiences
• Motivated by the mission to improve outcomes for people with severe mental illness
• Based in SF Bay Area; able to work in-person 5 days/week in Cow Hollow
