The Position
As Regional Installation Specialist you will mainly operate within Kuwait and beyond, and will be accountable for the relocation and de-installation of legacy Serum Work Area (SWA) systems, and the installation of new generation platforms (cobas pro, cobas pure and cobas smart e) for existing customers, in order to achieve a high level of service excellence within the Middle East region. Your core purpose is to successfully accelerate the PiPo program (Phase-in Phase-out) by bridging temporary capacity gaps during installation peaks.
Your Responsibilities
Installation/relocation/de-installation of analytical laboratory instruments of Roche Diagnostics.
Technical release of analytical systems for laboratory use.
Focus on preparations of the customer sites that require additional attention based on the continuous increase of customer demands and specifications of the instruments that we deliver.
Independently analyze and resolve most questions and problems and refer only the most complex issues to higher levels.
Timely and accurate logging of data according to work instructions and agreements, with regard to activities in the CRM system. Ensure all activities are documented in a manner compliant and keeping records in accordance with the company’s applicable procedures.
Timely performance of tasks, maintaining order in the workplace as well as the most effective use of working time.
Continuous improvement of professional qualifications and participation in company meetings and trainings as well as all forms of vocational education organized by the Employer. Actively gathering information in preparation for meetings, delivering an active part in these meetings and give feedback of outcome of these meetings to others
Develop and monitor local reports and documents to ensure the efficient and productive delivery of services.
Actively monitor costs for own Service activities
Awareness of new service bulletins, Global Customer Support (GCS) hot news and other forums
Who You Are

You obtained a BSc degree in Bio-Medical Engineering, Precision Mechanics, Electronics, Information Technology, Medical Technology or related
You built 1 year of work experience in a related field. We also welcome fresh graduates to apply
You have basic knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, information technology, and networking
You have excellent analytical, problem analysis and decision-making skills
Effective planning, organizational and time management skills
Effective customer service, written/verbal communication, organization and prioritization skills
Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English. Mastering Arabic language will be preferred
Important note:
Depending on the workload there will be a need for frequent traveling to neighboring countries in the Middle East to support the PiPo program but Kuwait being the first priority. You are expected to be flexible and willing to travel outside of Kuwait for those periods of time.
