About the Role
The Account Manager is mainly responsible to provide key internal support to relevant client-related activity. You can think strategically, connecting brand vision to execution. You understand the social landscape and how to integrate it into powerful campaigns.Working closely with Account Director, you will ensure strategy and creative output in a timely manner; assist in cost estimation, creative briefing and campaign management/analysis.
What You’ll Do
Client Partnership & Growth
- Act as the primary day-to-day contact, building deep, trusted relationships with our clients by understanding their business inside and out.
- Translate client needs into sharp, insightful creative briefs, ensuring our teams have a clear springboard for groundbreaking ideas.
- Manage client communications with precision, delivering timely updates, insightful contact reports, and proactive feedback to ensure alignment and a seamless partnership.
- Oversee client-related administrative and financial processes (POs, contracts, etc.), ensuring a smooth and professional experience from start to finish.
Project & Creative Excellence
- Orchestrate the end-to-end delivery of IMC campaigns, from initial briefing through to final execution, ensuring all materials get to market flawlessly.
- Serve as the central hub for project management, coordinating with creative, strategy, production, and other internal teams to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Champion the creative process by providing teams with the necessary insights and materials, then protecting the integrity of the work to ensure it meets Ogilvy’s high standards.
- Prepare and manage key project documentation, including WIP reports and timing plans, to keep all stakeholders informed and projects on track.
Strategic Contribution
- Contribute to the strategic process by gathering and analyzing market trends, competitive intelligence, and consumer insights.
- Partner with senior team members to develop compelling strategic narratives and demonstrate analytical thinking in all recommendations.
- Stay on the pulse of emerging technologies and social platforms, identifying opportunities to integrate them into innovative communications programs.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Guide and mentor AE or Intern, fostering their growth and helping them develop the skills to excel at Ogilvy.
- Be a proactive problem-solver, consulting with your line manager to provide thoughtful solutions to challenges as they arise.
What You’ll Need
- Solid account background and having experience managing at least AE level.
- Strong experience working for FMCG brands
- Solid experience working in ATL agency, manage IMC campaign from strategy to execution
- Ability to manage social projects (social planning, social content with clear KPI) is a plus
- Professional writing skills, strong presentation capabilities (proven media relations skills)
- An independent worker that works well on a team and can be proactive and a self-starter
- Detail-oriented, organized and dedicated; proactive and enthusiastic with an ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong client service and communication skills, able to negotiate, manage expectations and build trusted relationships from both Internal & External
- Experience with global clients, familiar with global standards and complex structures.
- Strong project management skills, able to handle multiple workstreams and deadlines under pressure
- Strategic thinking with attention to details can connect brand vision to execution.
- Proactive problem-solver with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including Creative, Strategy, and Media
- Able to communicate professionally in English
