Key Responsibilities: This position is responsible for leading the marketing strategy for Immunology with focus on Invest To Grow (ITG) & Maximize Launch (ML) assets, driving launch excellence of planned new launches, assessment and positioning of future pipeline assets, building future focused capabilities for the function including patient and customer experience programs that drive growth, enhance brand presence and improve patient outcomes

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans for ITG-ML assets while aligning with overall business objectives. Lead strategic planning exercises for the Immunology franchise – BP, LRFP etc.

  • Business Insights & Intelligence: Focus on internal and external data sources, building a robust insights channel to assure data driven decisions. Identify trends, opportunities and competitive landscape within the relevant TAs to help build the Immunology business strategy.

  • Brand Management: Oversee brand strategy and positioning, ensuring that marketing initiatives and activities resonate with healthcare providers and patients. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders for timely and effective deployment of marketing activities. Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize outcomes.

  • Launch Excellence: Lead efforts for successful launch of Tremfya in PsO & IBD. Collaborate with sales, medical affairs, market access, regulatory and regional stakeholders on launch readiness, messaging and market shaping activities.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Demonstrate marketing-thought leadership and build strategic partnerships with diverse stakeholders externally and local, regional cross-functional teams to drive strategy, increase access and lead in focus Tas.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and industry stakeholders.

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

  • Work closely with Franchise Head to develop and execute plans focused on driving sales, market share growth and profitability.  Deliver results through cross-functional collaborations with key business partners, including field sales organization and other key regional and global stakeholders.

  • Other responsibilities include fostering high-performance, talent development and contributing to building marketing competency

Required Qualifications & Key Competencies:

Required Minimum Education: Advanced degree -MBA from a premium institute, Bachelors in Life Sciences, Business, or related field.  

Required Years of Related Experience: 8-10+ Years

  • Industry Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressive sales & marketing experience in pharmaceutical/biotech and/or medical devices. Experience in Super-specialty TAs is preferred. Experience in healthcare consulting, account management, patient experience, access strategy is a plus.

  • Marketing Experience: A proven track record of marketing experiences including pharmaceutical marketing, social and digital marketing, brand equity building, data analytics, insights generation and agency management is required.

  • Sales Management Experience: At least 1 relevant sales management/account experience. Experience in healthcare consulting, account management, patient experience, access strategy is a plus

  • People Management Experience: At least 1-2+ years of experience in people management.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams and effectively manage cross-functional projects.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, utilizing market data to make informed marketing decisions.

  • Compliance Awareness: High level of compliance awareness.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional and senior management to impact decision-making is required.

  • Outstanding and clear communication skills; ability to think strategically and analytically to understand complex or ambiguous problems or issues and articulate solutions/recommendations clearly and concisely.

  • Strong project management skills and outstanding goal-setting/delivering specific, measurable objectives, strategies and measures

  • Strong analytical skills, logical structuring, ability to zoom in and zoom out to balance between short and long term. Advanced proficiency in excel and powerpoint with compelling articulative skills

  • Agile and able to adapt across range of situations, strong change management capabilities

  • Proactive, positive & innovative mind.  Good inter-personal relationship.

  • Business and financial acumen

  • Language Proficiency: Functional proficiency in spoken and written English.
