What You’ll Do
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning people strategies with the overall goals of Marmon Retail Solutions.
- Partner closely with business unit leadership to provide strategic guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
- Lead and oversee all core HR functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition and retention, compensation and benefits, HRIS/records management, learning and development, performance management, succession planning, and investigations.
- Foster and strengthen a culture that reflects Marmon and Berkshire Hathaway values, driving engagement, productivity, and accountability.
- Provide end-to-end HR leadership across the employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, engagement, development, and retention.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve policies, procedures, and programs that enhance organizational effectiveness and talent outcomes.
- Lead and inspire the HR team by promoting excellence in service delivery, candid feedback, and continuous improvement.
- Drive organizational change initiatives, including culture assessment, leadership development, and workforce capability building.
- Collaborate with Corporate and Group HR Centers of Excellence to ensure alignment with Marmon Group and Berkshire Hathaway policies and practices.
- Oversee the administration of HR programs such as compensation, benefits, leave management, performance and talent management, training, employee recognition, and disciplinary processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, proactively recommending and implementing best practices.
- Stay current on HR trends, regulatory changes, employment law, and HR technologies, translating insights into actionable strategies for leadership.
- Develop, manage, and oversee the departmental budget.
What You’ll Need
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience; manufacturing environment experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of core HR disciplines, including talent acquisition, learning and development, performance management, and employee relations.
- Proven experience developing and executing HR strategy with a hands-on, business-oriented approach.
- Strong leadership capability with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Expertise in HRIS platforms, with Workday experience preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Arkansas state and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to operate confidently at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving organizational needs.
