Job purpose

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a Electromechanical Technician In this role, the main responsibilities include maintaining production machinery and equipment in safe and reliable conditions, while implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and service levels. Provide support to production areas

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the development of new machines and equipment.
• Perform corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Support other areas in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
•  Request updates, modifications, and improvements to preventive maintenance routines for assigned equipment.
• Timely report and record work orders in the maintenance system.
• Close actions related to the improvement ideas system.
• Provide support to Lean Manufacturing Teams.

What we’re looking for

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• Schooling: incomplete degree or similar in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance Engineer; Electrical, Electromechanical, or Mechanical Technician.
• Experience Time in similar position: 1 year or more in a similar position.
• Technical knowledge required: Corrective and preventive maintenance, TPM, industrial electrical installations, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical control, mechanics
• Other requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office
