Senior Design Evaluation Engineer

About the Role

ADI’s Consumer Audio Business Unit is looking for a highly motivated and hands-on engineer with strong debugging skills and good understanding of silicon behavior. In this role, you will contribute to bring-up, validation, and characterization of mixed-signal ICs, working closely with cross-functional teams across hardware and software domains.

You will play a key role in executing validation plans, debugging silicon issues, and supporting product readiness, while growing your technical depth and contributing to team success.


Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to silicon bring-up, validation, and debug at block and system levels
  • Execute validation plans and assist in defining test coverage
  • Perform characterization measurements and support silicon performance evaluation
  • Debug silicon issues and support root-cause analysis with cross-functional teams
  • Work closely with embedded software teams to validate system functionality
  • Assist in correlating simulation and silicon behavior
  • Document validation results and contribute to reports and engineering documentation
  • Support resolution of silicon issues impacting product readiness

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BSEE/MSEE in Electronics or equivalent degree with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in pre and post silicon validation and characterization.
  • Hands on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies and logic analyzers etc.
  • Experience in validation of analog and mixed signal blocks such as ADC/DAC/amplifiers/Buck/LDO etc.
  • Working Knowledge of embedded systems programming.
  • Good debugging and root-cause analysis skills across hardware and mixed-signal systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
