Job Description

Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About the Role:

Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI Factory company with a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. Our competitive advantage—"Speed is the only moat"—is directly tied to our ability to rapidly build and deploy our own modular power and compute infrastructure.

As we prepare to scale our Spark product line, data-driven decision-making is our north star. We are seeking a Strategy Analyst to provide the financial and market intelligence that fuels our GTM strategy. You will model the transition to liquid cooling, track our competitive moat, and provide the analytical backing for our most critical investment decisions.

What You'll Be Working On:

I. Unit Economics & ROI Modeling

  • The Spark Model: Own the financial model for Spark deployments, tracking product costs, OpEx, and the ROI of upgrades.

  • Forecasting: Partner with Sales and BD to build the demand forecast that informs our manufacturing capacity investments.

  • Capex Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce unit costs through manufacturing efficiencies or supply chain scaling specifically focused on Spark product and deployment projects.

II. Competitive Intelligence

  • Market Benchmarking: Monitor the modular data center and AI infra landscape, providing deep-dives on competitor specs, pricing, roadmaps & strategies.

  • Sector Analysis: Model emerging markets to prioritize where Spark capacity is deployed.

III. Executive Reporting

  • Board Materials: Create high-fidelity data visualizations and summaries for the executive team and Board of Directors.

  • Operational BI: Build dashboards that track deployment velocity and business unit performance.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • High-Stakes Analysis: 3-5 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or a corporate strategy role at a high-growth tech company.

  • Modeling Mastery: Exceptional Excel/Google Sheets skills; you build models that are dynamic, error-free, and audit-ready.

  • Data Visualization: Proficiency with BI tools to turn raw deployment data into executive-level dashboards.

  • Strategic Writing: Ability to draft summaries that clearly articulate a recommendation to the Spark GM & C-suite.

  • Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial modeling for Capex-heavy unit economics.

  • Intellectual Curiosity: A student of the AI stack—from GPU power requirements to the economics of the power grid.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation and equity packages

  • Restricted Stock Units

  • Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs

  • Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance

  • Employer contributions to HSA account

  • Paid parental leave

  • Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability

  • Professional development & tuition reimbursement

  • Mental health & wellness support

  • Commuter benefits (parking & transit)

  • Cell phone stipend

  • 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary

  • Volunteer time off

  • Global travel insurance & emergency assistance

  • Daily meals allowance

  • Additional perks & programs specific to location

Compensation Range

Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $115,000 - $140,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
