Job OverviewThis role is essential for aligning sales compensation with business strategy to drive desired sales behaviors and outcomes. This role manages the design and implementation of compensation plans, sales performance incentives, and channel sales programs. It differentiates by integrating cross-functional collaboration with leadership, operations, finance, and human resources to ensure cohesive execution. Success is measured by effective compensation plan adoption, operational excellence, and alignment with strategic business goals. The work impacts organizational performance by enabling clear communication and execution of sales initiatives across field and headquarters teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop analytics-driven sales compensation recommendations to support business initiatives and align sales behaviors with strategy
- Partner with functional groups to identify field challenges and develop national solutions and tactics
- Translate business strategy into actionable tactics and provide clear explanations to field employees
- Create training materials and communication tools to support change management and prepare field teams for program launches
- Collaborate with technical partners to ensure systematic execution and assist with system design as needed
- Present strategic insights and influence senior leadership to achieve business objectives
- Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
Education and Work Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- 7+ years of experience in sales operations, strategy, and/or program management. Tech industry preferred. (Preferred)
- Retail/wireless sales/service experience a plus (Preferred)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Data Analysis Proven ability to analyze data from existing systems and multiple sources, consolidate results, create a comprehensive picture, and make/present informed recommendations (Required)
- Compensation Extensive knowledge of compensation plan & incentive design (Required)
- Negotiation Excellent influencing and negotiation skills (Required)
- Project Management Strong project management, analysis, and execution skills -- resulting in track record of successful achievements. (Required)
- Problem Solving Demonstrated use of innovative yet analytical approaches to problem solving. (Required)
- Software Basic computer skills and knowledge of common business applications (web browsers, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, etc.) (Required)

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
