Your role

We are seeking a Junior System Verification Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and functionality of our systems, with a primary focus on system and Graphical User Interface (GUI) testing.

We are looking for a candidate who can design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases. The role involves utilizing various testing methodologies, including black box, white box, and exploratory testing, to identify and report defects. The candidate will collaborate closely with development teams to understand software requirements and translate them into testable scenarios. After testing, results will be analyzed and clear test reports compiled. The person will also contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies. Experience in writing system requirements and breaking them down into detailed test cases is a plus.

Your profile

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and has 1-3 years of proven experience in system testing. A solid understanding of system engineering is required, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential, as well as the capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

For this position you need to have excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in writing system requirements and breaking them down into detailed test cases is highly valued. Familiarity with test management tools, such as Jira, is also preferred.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
