WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Manage the staff and daily operations of a busy OB unit
Prepare, manage and control budget, monitor and analyze variances.
Direct employees to meet all mandatory Human Resource requirements.
Complete performance appraisal of staff members.
Quality compliance.
Oversee the process of assuring the clinical competence of personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree Nursing/Patient Care - Required
5 years Nursing/Patient Care - Required
2 years Previous managerial experience with demonstrated leadership skills --- Preferred
2 years previous Nursing experience in OB - Preferred
Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board in state of practice - Required
Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required
Licensure - Nursing Leadership Licensure within 36 months - Preferred
Unit Specific Certifications - Franciscan Alliance - Required if required by unit
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - The American Academy of Pediatrics - Required if required by unit
