Job Description
Cleartelligence is a data, analytics, and AI consultancy that partners with enterprise and private-equity backed clients to envision, design, and implement solutions that solve complex business challenges and accelerate value creation through data-driven insights.
In this role, you will:
- Shape and execute the vision and strategy for the practice.
- Develop and mentor team members to support their professional growth.
- Expand the team by overseeing staffing and hiring to ensure the right mix of talent and expertise.
- Contribute to revenue growth by participating in pitches, building and evolving relationships with senior technical stakeholders, and identify new revenue opportunities on existing clients.
- Lead strategic client engagements, providing trusted advisory and technical excellence.
- Champion thought leadership, representing Cleartelligence within the industry and across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a proven leader with deep expertise in AI Engineering experience, a passion for developing people, and a demonstrated ability to deliver impactful, cross-industry AI solutions. This is a People Manager role reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Key responsibilities include:
Practice Management:
- a high-performing team of 10-15 consultants globally.
- Lead all hiring decisions for the practice, including FTEs, backfills, and contractors.
- Evolve the vision for the AI Engineering practice, ensuring alignment with company growth plans, market trends, and portfolio strategies.
- Define how the practice will innovate and adapt to emerging technologies and client needs.
- Make final decisions on staffing assignments across client engagements.
- Own practice metrics related to utilization, delivery quality, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies across client engagements led by your team.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on complex AI Engineering problems and solutions.
- Continuously assess and improve processes, methodologies, and tools with a particular focus on reusable frameworks and automation.
Client Engagement
- Play a technical lead role on strategic client engagements, driving architecture design, technology selection, and roadmap development for high-priority accounts.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Drive account growth by delivering exceptional work and building trusted, advisory-level client relationships.
Revenue Growth & Business Development
- Partner with Portfolio Leaders and Account Teams to identify opportunities for growth within existing and new clients.
- Contribute to proposal development, solution design, and strategic account planning.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key AI technology partners (e.g., Vercel, Claude Code, Figma, Cursor, Snowflake, Databricks) to keep your team current on emerging capabilities and drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships.
Thought Leadership
- Provide internal and external thought leadership in AI Engineering topics.
- Represent the company at industry events, client forums, and through published content.
- Contribute to shaping the company’s perspective on how AI and data enable business transformation.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in engineering and/or application development.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and complex delivery programs.
- Experience delivering solutions with a majority of the following technologies, frameworks and programming languages:
- AI Technologies: Cursor, Figma Make, Sigma, Vercel
- Programming: Python, Java, C++
- Front-end Frameworks: React, Next.js, Vue.js, Angular
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering,
- Strong background in solution architecture and consulting.
- Proven ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated experience driving business growth and operational improvements.
- Proven abilities in leadership and practice oversight, showcasing the capacity to inspire, encourage, and cultivate top tier teams.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering AI Engineering consulting projects for diverse clients across industries.
- Experience in Data Management and Data Visualization
