We are committed to hiring the best, most talented people and empowering them to thrive, grow meaningful careers and to find a place where they belong.  Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.

Mission

Lead architecture for enterprise-wide, high-impact I&O initiatives that cut across platforms, regions, and organizations. Ensure coordinated execution, proactive risk management, and timely executive decision support across the full lifecycle of transformation programs.

Scope of Responsibility

This role serves as the architectural and integration authority across the following program types:

  • Regional and Country Expansion — architecture for net-new footprint build-out and onboarding
  • Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestitures (M&A/D) — integration and separation strategies from LOI through Day 100+
  • Internal and External Audits — IT allocation exercises, evidence architecture, and audit-readiness frameworks
  • Regulatory & Remediation Programs — architecture supporting compliance mandates and remediation roadmaps
  • Enterprise Operating Model Changes — structural and process changes affecting I&O delivery models
  • Large-Scale Infrastructure Transformations — application segmentation, data center migrations, cloud transitions

Key Responsibilities

Foundational I&O Architecture & Program Design

  • Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into actionable, integrated infrastructure architectures
  • Establish integration and separation blueprints for M&A and divestiture programs
  • Drive consistency and reuse of architectural patterns across programs and regions

Program Execution & Coordination

  • Develop and govern Day 0, Day 1, and Day 100 execution plans for major transformation programs
  • Coordinate across platform teams, regional leads, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery
  • Identify and manage interdependencies across concurrent initiatives to prevent conflicts and gaps
  • Drive structured program governance, including decision logs, RAID tracking, and milestone accountability

Risk, Cost & Timeline Management

  • Build and maintain risk, cost, and timeline scenario models for executive consumption
  • Surface emerging risks early and facilitate mitigation planning before escalation is required
  • Develop trade-off analyses for architectural and investment decisions with clear recommendation framing

Executive Engagement & Communication

  • Author executive decision and trade-off memos for I&O leadership and C-suite stakeholders
  • Translate technical complexity into clear, structured briefings appropriate for non-technical audiences
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to I&O executives on program posture, risk, and strategic direction

Standards, Practices & Audit Readiness

  • Embed audit-readiness into architecture and program design from the outset
  • Define and maintain integration and transformation standards, playbooks, and reference architectures
  • Support internal and external audit exercises through structured documentation and evidence frameworks

Core Outputs

  • Foundational I&O-Level Architectures — the structural blueprint for all major I&O programs
  • Integration & Separation Strategies — guide M&A and divestiture execution at the infrastructure layer
  • Day 0 / Day 1 / Day 100 Plans — sequenced, risk-managed execution across transition milestones
  • Risk, Cost & Timeline Scenarios — enable informed executive investment and scheduling decisions
  • Executive Decision & Trade-off Memos — drive timely, well-framed decisions at the leadership level

What Success Looks Like

  • Predictable M&A Integrations — programs deliver against Day 1 and Day 100 commitments with no critical surprises; architectural decisions are made early and documented
  • Audit Readiness by Design — I&O architecture and documentation consistently satisfy internal and external audit requirements without reactive scrambling
  • Fewer Last-Minute Escalations — risks are identified and escalated in a structured, timely manner; executive surprises are rare and bounded
  • Clear Executive Visibility — I&O leadership has consistent, accurate visibility into program risk, cost, and progress across the transformation portfolio

Qualifications

Required

  • 12+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, transformation, or enterprise IT program delivery
  • Demonstrated experience leading I&O architecture across M&A integrations or divestitures
  • Deep knowledge of hybrid cloud, data center, network, and enterprise platform domains
  • Proven ability to develop and communicate executive-level architectures, plans, and trade-off memos
  • Experience managing complex programs with cross-functional, cross-regional stakeholders
  • Strong risk identification, escalation, and mitigation discipline

Preferred

  • Experience in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government) or large global enterprises
  • Familiarity with ITIL, TOGAF, SABSA, or equivalent enterprise architecture frameworks
  • Exposure to M&A due diligence and IT integration playbooks
  • Experience supporting IT audit processes (SOX, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, etc.)

Leadership Competencies

  • Systems thinking — able to see and manage second-order effects across complex, interdependent programs
  • Executive presence — credible and concise with senior stakeholders under pressure
  • Structured communication — ability to convert ambiguity into clear written outputs and decisions
  • Influence without authority — drive alignment across organizations without direct reporting lines
  • Bias for early action — surfaces risk and drives resolution before escalation is required
