Senior Business Controller Commercial (x|f|m)

Join our Finance, Controlling & Performance Management team as a Senior Business Controller Commercial (x|f|m) and play a key role in driving business performance through data-driven insights, strategic decision support, and forward-looking performance management. In close partnership with senior leaders, you will help shape commercial success, challenge the status quo, and contribute to better health for more people. This position is based in Goettingen with the possibility to work remotely on some days per week. The role combines on-site collaboration with flexible working options.

Grow With Us – Your Responsibilities

• Act as a senior business partner to leadership by providing an integrated view of business performance and translating financial and operational insights into clear management actions
• Support the Head of Controlling for Commercial & Operations on high-priority management topics and strategic ad hoc analyses with strong exposure to senior leadership
• Drive change within the Controlling & Performance Management operating model by shaping collaboration, ways of working, and the culture of the organization
• Connect perspectives across Commercial and BU Controlling, including Commercial, Tech Sales, and Product Management, to ensure a holistic view of customer and product performance
• Further develop the Health of Business framework and advance performance management toward forward-looking steering and decision-making
• Identify root causes, risks, and opportunities through constructive performance challenge and translate insights into concrete actions together with business leaders
• Enhance forecasting processes by driving ownership of assumptions, supporting upside realization and downside mitigation, improving forecast accuracy, and enabling effective operational planning

What Will Convince Us

• Successfully completed academic degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, Economics, Business Analytics, or a comparable field
• Several years of work experience in Finance & Controlling, performance management, business analytics, or a related area
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the confidence to present findings effectively to senior management
• Customer-focused and value-oriented mindset
• Ability to lead through collaboration and operate effectively in a matrix organization
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
