Job Summary:

As a Senior Business ARC Analyst at BP (HC), you will contribute to the delivery of accounting, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and control activities. The role provides an opportunity to partner across finance and business teams to strengthen governance, improve process efficiency, drive continuous improvement, and leverage automation and AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency, insights, and business outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

* Deliver accurate and timely accounting, reporting, and controllership activities in accordance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements
* Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring balance sheet integrity and high-quality financial reporting.
* Support statutory accounting, regulatory reporting, and direct and indirect tax compliance, including coordination with auditors.
* Ensure effective operation of internal controls and compliance frameworks, proactively identifying and mitigating financial, operational, and compliance risks.
* Drive process excellence, standardization, simplification, and automation initiatives to improve efficiency, control effectiveness, and customer outcomes.
* Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established accounting principles.
* Support finance transformation initiatives, system implementations, and continuous improvement programs across the finance organization.
* Leverage digital fluency and analytics tools to extract insights from financial data and support decision-making.
* Provide expert advice and guidance on accounting matters and financial processes to colleagues and management.

Job Qualifications:

* Qualified CA, CMA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification. 7-10 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, controllership, compliance, taxation, and finance operations.
* Strong knowledge of financial accounting, statutory reporting, group reporting, balance sheet governance, and accounting control frameworks.
* Sound understanding of Indian direct and indirect taxation, including Income Tax, TDS, GST, and statutory compliance requirements.
* Solid understanding of internal control and compliance frameworks.
* Experience managing statutory audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance obligations.
* Proficiency in digital tools and platforms, SAP.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
