This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain exposure in Field Recruitment, directly supporting the scaling of our frontline business operations across both provinces. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to make a tangible impact on regional growth, this role is for you.

This position can be based in BC or Alberta. Occasional travel will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full cycle recruiting by partnering with field operations leadership to forecast and determine staffing needs.

  • Review and qualify resumes against role requirements, conducting preliminary phone interviews to assess cultural and technical fit.

  • Facilitate and schedule phone, virtual, and in-person interviews between top talent and hiring teams.

  • Assist with candidate assessments, conduct reference checks, make hiring recommendations, and extend formal offer letters while clearly explaining compensation, benefits, and agreements.

  • Design innovative sourcing strategies and build robust talent pipelines utilizing both traditional and non-traditional channels (e.g., career fairs, online networking, and community networking events).

  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with colleges, universities, and external organizations to drive diverse talent pipelines.

  • Create, update, and standardize ad-hoc recruitment documentation to streamline the hiring lifecycle.

  • Own and oversee end-to-end recruitment projects from inception to successful completion.

  • Support the HR team with the internal employee transfer process.

  • Proactively follow up with candidates and hiring managers to gather feedback, ensuring a continuous improvement of the recruitment and selection process.

  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to successfully achieve organizational staffing goals.

  • Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations within your region.

  • Consult and advise hiring managers on recruitment best practices, interview techniques, and talent trends.

  • Manage candidate activity in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Workday.

  • Manage application/resume file and retention according to company policy.

  • Execute other recruitment and HR-related responsibilities as required to support business needs.

Education, Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, diploma or certification in Human Resources or a related field preferred.

  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience managing the full-cycle recruitment process.

  • Prior experience with Workday ATS is considered an asset.

  • Ability to travel as required.

  • A valid Drivers License is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Solid foundational knowledge of employment standards and best practices.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with external candidates and internal teams.

  • Highly flexible with the ability to manage relationships at all levels of a diverse organization with a variety of personalities.

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage a load of competing priorities under pressure and within respective deadlines.

  • Ability to work under limited supervision and with tight deadlines.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to write professional correspondence to employees, management, and vendors via internal and external communications.

  • Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.

  • Attention to detail in all areas of work.

  • Strong moral and ethical judgement in decision making, along with a commitment to maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
