About the role
The Director- Product Management Talent & Core HCM, sits within the Corp Functions D&T organisation and is accountable for the end-to-end‑ product strategy, roadmap, and value delivery for Talent and Core HR capabilities. The role reports into the Head of HR Systems & Products and partners closely with HR leadership, Enterprise Architecture, and platform teams and ensures platforms (e.g., Workday / others) are used intentionally, coherently, and sustainably to deliver great experiences, trusted data, and scalable operations. The role reports to the Head of HR Systems & Products.
Role Responsibilities
Own and articulate the product vision, strategy and multiyear roadmap for Core HR and Talent capabilities
Translate HR strategy into prioritised, outcome-based roadmaps, balancing transformation, optimisation, and run.
Act as overall value owner for Talent & Core HR platforms and products accountable for outcomes, adoption, cost, and product health
Govern demand intake and prioritisation in line with target architecture
Partner with Solution Architecture to ensure platform‑first, principle‑led decisions, minimising customisation and duplication
Provide executive‑ready narratives to HRLT and SteerCo on trade‑offs, risks, sequencing, and value realisation
Drive continuous simplification of the HR technology landscape, reducing long‑term complexity and dependency on bespoke solutions
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
Senior product leader and Business partner with over 15 years of experience within enterprise HR technology
Deep expertise in Workday or similar HCM products (SAP SF etc.)
Proven experience managing complex, global HR portfolios
Strong understanding of HR capability models and operating models
Proven track record of portfolio simplification and platform first‑ design
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience influencing senior HR and business leadership
Strong strategic thinking and commercial judgement
Ability to balance transformation and operational stability
Comfortable operating in ambiguous, evolving environments
