About the Role

As a member of our Business Systems Engineering team, you will build or improve tools that are used daily by Verkada resellers, external integration platforms, and internal teams across the company. Our goal is to find bottlenecks and friction points, and drive process improvements, as well as come up with technical solutions. Our team is the custodian of data that is used by finance, orders, supply chain, and people teams. We emphasize automation over operation, metrics over anecdotes, iteration over perfection, and being proactive over responsive.

We are committed to a thriving in-office culture. This role requires you to be onsite at our HQ in San Mateo, CA.

What You'll Do

Design and implement simple and efficient UI/UX that allow Verkada partners to interact with Verkada
Work with PMs to simplify and enhance the overall Verkada transaction process
Develop customer empathy to propose improvements to systems
Lead projects from ideation to release
Help and mentor junior engineers

What You Bring

4+ years of software engineering with a focus on Front End development
Shipped customer facing products or internal tools in the past
Flexible and adaptive in a fast-paced startup environment
Passion for end customer experience
In-depth expertise in modern Front End frame works or e-Commerce Web Platforms
Bonus: Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, or HRIS platforms
