Job Description
Core Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Handles the day-to-day responsibilities of a Drug File pharmacist, which would include such tasks as, ability to handle and collaborate with pharmacy operations, drug warehouse / inventory teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Utilize clinical directive from Pharmacy Practice, SOPs and clinical resources to determine clinical appropriateness for NDC Changes.
- Review/approve clinical information that is entered by DBA/Technicians team members within multiple systems (ie; Safire, IDF, Drug File Centralization)
- Utilizes in-depth professional knowledge but is guided by functional practices.
- Ability to work both on-site and cross-site with leadership and peers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current unrestricted Pharmacist License in one of the four States listed in posting
- 3-5 years relevant experience preferred.
- Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments and team to resolve issues.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Strong focus on customer service, quality and accuracy.
- Ability to adapt in a changing environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule for peak volume times.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Additional Optional Qualifications
- Graduate of ACPE Accreditation School of Pharmacy with a B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm.D., degree.
- Willingness to obtain out-of-state pharmacy licenses if needed.
This position would be considered Hybrid and will need to work on-site a minimum of 3 days per week.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 120,000 - 200,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
