Job Description

Ready to make your next big professional move? Join us on our journey to achieve our big dream of building the most loved restaurant brands in the world.

Restaurant Brands International Inc. is one of the world's largest quick service restaurant companies with nearly $45 billion in annual system-wide sales and over 32,000 restaurants in more than 120 countries and territories.

RBI owns four of the world's most prominent and iconic quick service restaurant brands – TIM HORTONS®, BURGER KING®, POPEYES®, and FIREHOUSE SUBS®. These independently operated brands have been serving their respective guests, franchisees and communities for decades. Through its Restaurant Brands for Good framework, RBI is improving sustainable outcomes related to its food, the planet, and people and communities.

RBI is committed to growing the TIM HORTONS®, BURGER KING®, POPEYES® and FIREHOUSE SUBS® brands by leveraging their respective core values, employee and franchisee relationships, and long track records of community support. Each brand benefits from the global scale and shared best practices that come from ownership by Restaurant Brands International Inc.

Our opportunity:

Restaurant Brands International (RBI) is hiring a Senior Manager to join our EMEA Finance & Corporate Development team, based in Zug. This role sits at the center of how we grow our four brands — Burger King & Popeyes — across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, working directly on the most strategically important transactions in the region.

  • The Senior Manager leads financial and structural workstreams across a portfolio of complex deals: master franchise development agreements (MFDAs) with sophisticated institutional partners, M&A diligence and execution, restructurings, capital markets support for franchisee partners, joint ventures, and bespoke commercial structures. The role engages directly with private equity sponsors, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and operating partners across the region, and reports into the Director of Finance & Corporate Development EMEA.

  • This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to operate as a principal — building original analysis from a blank page, structuring deals, and driving them to close — rather than executing within a template-driven process.

RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week.

Your roles and responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end financial workstreams on EMEA's largest and most complex transactions, including MFDA negotiations and amendments, restructurings, M&A, and capital markets-adjacent work supporting franchisee partners.

  • Build bespoke financial models from first principles — bottom-up unit economics, full operating model build-outs, returns waterfalls, covenant and capital structure analysis, scenario and sensitivity work — to support diligence, structuring, and live negotiation.

  • Negotiate directly with counterparties on commercial terms, development schedules, financial structures, and ancillary arrangements; coordinate across legal, franchising, operations, and brand teams to align on positioning.

  • Develop investment memos, board materials, and executive presentations for internal approval (up to and including CEO and Board of Directors), as well as external partner-facing materials.

  • Mentor and develop analysts and associates on the team — model architecture, deal process, and stakeholder management.

  • Partner with brand business unit leaders, regional CFOs, and global Corporate Development on strategy, capital allocation, and the EMEA growth roadmap.

Your skills and experience

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience. Strong preference for candidates combining investment banking, private equity, or transaction-focused M&A advisory with some operating or corporate development exposure.

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or CFA welcome but not required.

  • Exceptional financial modeling skills: able to build a flexible, audit-ready model from scratch on a complex transaction without leaning on templates. Comfortable with unit-level operating builds, capital structures, returns analysis, and bespoke commercial mechanics.

  • Proven ability to lead workstreams independently on live deals, manage external counterparties, and drive a process to close.

  • Strong commercial instincts and judgment — knows when to dig deeper, when to escalate, and when to move.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to senior executives and external counterparties.

  • Fluent in English.

Benefits at all of our global offices are focused on physical, mental and financial wellness. We offer unique and progressive benefits, including a comprehensive global paid parental leave program that supports employees as they expand their families, free telemedicine and mental wellness support.
