About the role
Job Description:
The Finance & Corporate Solution Architect Lead leads all technical aspects of Finance and Corporate Solutions, including architecture, integrations, security, upgrades, patching, disaster recovery, backups, and compliance across SaaS, .NET, and SharePoint platforms. The role ensures system integrity, performance, governance, and continuous technical improvement through automation, monitoring, and process optimisation.
This role also bridges programs and steady-state operations, leading service introduction and operational integration to ensure seamless Business as Usual (BAU) continuity aligned with ITIL standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Finance & Corporate Architecture
Technical Focal Point: Act as the primary technical contact for Finance and Corporate architecture-related topics, ensuring technical stability, application development standards, and continuous improvements.
Landscape Management: Oversee the full application and infrastructure landscape, including environments, performance optimization, and capacity planning.
Technical Documentation & Interfaces: Maintain and update all technical documentation covering system architecture, integrations, and interdependencies.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Continuously track system performance, capacity, and efficiency, proactively addressing any degradation risks.
Security & Compliance: Ensure technical compliance with IT security standards, audits, and data protection regulations, patching updates, and application license management.
Automation & AI & Monitoring: Lead the implementation of automated technical monitoring to proactively detect issues and improve system resilience through automation.
Technical Change Management: Review upgrades and new releases, and oversee all technical changes, ensuring proper governance and minimal disruption to operations.
Technical Risk & Disaster Recovery Management: Own and manage disaster recovery plans, ensuring backup and restoration strategies align with business continuity goals.
Archiving & Data Lifecycle Management: Define and execute archiving strategies, ensuring optimal data retention policies and compliance with business needs.
Backup Process Coordination: Oversee backup strategies in collaboration with infrastructure and platform operations teams, ensuring data integrity and recoverability.
Management of TCO: (total cost of ownership) Own and manage TCO on applications in scope.
2. Stakeholder Alignment
Act as technical bridge between Finance and Corporate Business Team, Vendor, and Digital Technology teams.
Ensure alignment between Product strategy and operational support execution.
Collaborate with Vendor, Security and Integration teams to ensure supportability.
Provide technical advisory input for programs initiatives.
3. App Portfolio & Program Scope
Act as the technical bridge between project/program delivery and steady-state operations.
Provide status updates for initiatives where serving as technical lead.
Lead technical aspects of service introduction and transition to operations.
Support Functional Owners during service introduction.
Own, manage and support technical activities related to application decommissioning.
Experience:
Knowledge of Finance in Tax, Treasury, Controllership processes and Corporate processes is in Legal, Risk, Audit and Corporate Affairs.
5+ years of experience in Integration Support, Service Operations, Service Transition, or similar roles.
Proven experience working with vendor-based support models.
Strong experience with financial processes like Tax, Treasury, and Controllership, and Corporate process in Risk, Audit, Legal, to support the integration with ERP systems (SAP and Navision).
Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Transition).
Experience operating in complex, multi-team global environments.
Ability to manage high-pressure situations.
Fluent English.
Excellent stakeholder communication skills, ensuring alignment across architecture, delivery, and operations.
Preferred:
Experience with Solutions Architect with a focus on Integrations.
Exposure to applications such as Tax, Treasury, Controllership, Corporate Apps, and ERP-integrated systems.
ITIL, Agile, Scrum, or DevOps certifications.
Familiarity with Mars Digital Technology standards, tools, and governance.
