The work

The Senior SAP Enterprise Warehouse Management (WMS) Functional Consultant is responsible for the analysis and configuration of SAP system to meet Business process design and application requirements related to the following aspects of PM: Receiving and put-away process, Inventory management, Order picking, packing, and fulfilment, Shipping, Labor management, Warehouse metrics and analytics, Understanding of the Extended WMS.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading efforts to architect EWM Greenfield design from gathered client’s Business process requirements
  • Developing detailed configuration rationales and designs, as well as building system configuration
  • Implementing detailed Business process functional solutions to meet client’s requirements
  • Developing test strategies and managing large complex test efforts
  • Creating associated documentation such as RICEFW objects, test models, scripts, etc.
  • Maintaining, enhancing and/or configuring SAP processes including those that interface with other applications
  • Facilitate interaction with technical and functional counterparts to ensure that solutions meet all functional requirements
  • Experience with budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning is a plus
  • Managing a team, including mentoring and training junior team members

Here’s what you need:

  • 7+ years of SAP and WMS Functional experience
  • Experience implementing a Greenfield EWM solution
  • Experience with integrating with ASRS, Handling Units, and material availability to support manufacturing execution
  • Team lead experience

Nice to have:

  • Experience integrating EWM with manufacturing execution using SAP Production Planning
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

Eligibility Requirements:

  • US Citizens only (no dual citizenship)
  • Eligibility to obtain a Public Trust government clearance
