About the role
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean trucks and equipment using pressure washer in truck bay area.
• Drive trucks from parking spot to wash bay and back in order to facilitate washing
• Perform administrative duties relating to record keeping of work performed.
• Keep truck wash area clean.
• Pick-up parts for mechanics and assist around the shop area
• Raise cab/body of truck
• Conform in all respects with applicable federal, state/provincial and local laws, regulations, ordinances and other orders and to all company policies, procedures and directives from supervisors.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED desired but not required.
• One (1) to three (3) months’ related experience desired, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to read, write and communicate with others.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform duties under limited supervision.
Physical/Mental Demands:
• Must be able to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
• Must be able to manually lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly.
Working Conditions:
• Frequently exposed to loud noise, humidity, hot and cold weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, vibrations, toxic and caustic chemicals, fumes and airborne particles.
