Description
Join Apple's innovative team where you will contribute to the development and verification of cutting-edge wireless technologies. We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware Verification and Integration Engineer to play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our 4G/5G firmware. You will be a key member of a cross-functional team, collaborating with component validation, integration, protocol test, firmware development, and system engineering teams.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum requirement of a bachelors degree. Strong understanding of wireless and digital communication theory and concepts such as Modulation, channel coding techniques and digital signal processing. Good knowledge of wireless signal propagation, channels fading and RF concepts. Understanding of basic Cellular communication systems and various division multiple access techniques. Good programming/Coding ability using C/C++, Python or any other language. Analytical and debugging skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues and collaborate effectively with development/design teams for resolution. Knowledge of source code control tools. Ability to quickly adapt and learn new architectures and frameworks. Familiarity with AI/ML tools and techniques for test optimization, data analysis, or complex system verification.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Basic Knowledge of 4G/5G 3GPP physical layer and protocol stack procedures and configurations. Experience with network emulators, silicon prototyping, emulation systems, and virtual platforms. Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, Java).
