Job Summary:

Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA is seeking a Physician to join our pediatric hospitalist team.

Job Duties:

  • 7 on / 7 off

  • 12-hour shifts

  • Coverage for deliveries as needed to include coverage for C-sections. Care will be for low-risk deliveries of well infants 35 weeks and above. Sick infants will transfer to a Level III NICU at Geisinger Wyoming Valley

  • Most admissions from community-based physicians and upon referral from ED

  • Receive consults from other services on admitted patients

Education:

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine- (Required)

Experience:

Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania
