Analyst - Quality Engineering

You will work collaboratively across cross-functional teams to execute testing activities, support system validation, and contribute to continuous improvement of our QA practices.

With this position we offer

Join the Trading Engineering under Market Platforms division, You will be part of customer delivery team, working with peers to ensure the successful deployment, integration, and functional validation of enterprise software in internal and customer environments.

Role Responsibilities -

As an Analyst Quality Engineer, your focus will be testing software solutions. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.

• Design, develop, and execute functional and regression test cases
• Perform automation testing using one or more automation tools/frameworks
• Ensure proper traceability of test cases with requirements and defects
• Understand and follow STLC processes across project phases
• Perform testing activities in Linux-based environments
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines to support automated test execution
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for defects and test failures
• Collaborate with development teams to verify fixes and improvements
• Participate in customer interactions, understand requirements, and provide testing updates

We expect you to have:

• 1–3 years of experience in software testing (manual and automation)
• Strong knowledge of STLC and testing methodologies
• Experience with any programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
• Basic working knowledge of Linux commands
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools
• Basic knowledge and understanding of AWS cloud services
• Experience in defect tracking, test documentation, and traceability matrices

It would be great if you

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience using test management and defect tracking tools
• Basic knowledge of DevOps practices
