Job Description
Amazon Devices & Services are some of the most innovative and fastest growing products at Amazon, including Kindle, Fire TV, Echo, Ring, Blink, and Amazon Leo. This position provides an opportunity to manage Amazon Device fulfillment and transportation to individual and business customers throughout Brazil.
The Operations Manager will serve as the business operations lead for Brazil, working cross-functionally across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Account Management, and External Fulfillment Providers to ensure excellence in warehouse operations and on-time performance. This role requires fluency in Portuguese and English to effectively manage local third-party logistics (3PL) partners and collaborate with global stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
• Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across Transportation, Operations, Business Intelligence, Sales, Accounting, Finance, and Legal, ensuring alignment among diverse stakeholders across multiple geographies
• Partner with supply chain experts across Devices Global Logistics (DGL) to drive, support, and influence strategic business initiatives that enable network scalability
• Conduct business reviews with Senior Leadership, presenting insights, risks, and recommendations
• Evaluate warehouse topology and facility design to optimize network efficiency across Brazil operations
Operational Excellence:
• Manage supply chain and fulfillment constraints against business and sales organization demands
• Collaborate with 3PL operation field leaders to identify and implement innovative technology solutions and scale operational productivity
• Drive operational consistency through network-wide process standardization initiatives
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and 3PL partners to proactively identify and remove operational obstacles
• Analyze operational barriers systematically, focusing on root cause identification and understanding financial impact drivers
Travel Requirements:
• Regular domestic travel within Brazil and occasional international travel to support operations and stakeholder engagement
A day in the life
You will drive strategic initiatives for a rapidly scaling business within the DGL Operations team. Your day involves managing complex, cross-functional projects spanning multiple organizations and geographies. You collaborate closely with business and sales stakeholders, account managers, product managers, 3PL partners, supply chain experts, and other stakeholders to solve operational challenges and implement innovative solutions. Regular communication with senior leadership is essential — you present project status updates, identify risks, and recommend process improvements that drive network-wide impact. Success in this position requires strong project management capabilities, excellent presentation skills, and demonstrated ability to deliver results in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience
- 3+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
- Experience in communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal in Portuguese & English
- Experience with operations/supply chain
- Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
- Experience in Retail or wholesale business
- 1+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab, etc.) experience
- 3+ years of supply chain experience, or a PMP certificate and 2+ years of supply chain experience
- Experience in consumer electronics or technology sector

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of with Excel experience- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience
- 3+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
