The Opportunity
As a dedicated Treasury Operations Analyst (Mid-Level) you will play a critical role within Disbursement Operations by managing key data, performance metrics, and control activities that support accurate and efficient disbursement payments. You will provide reliable, data driven operational support, strengthen the control environment, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across processes and systems.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week.
This position will be based in the San Antonio, TX office location.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
What you'll do:
Serves as the primary data analytics resource for the Disbursement Operations team.
Deliver accurate, data-driven operational support for leadership reporting and Treasury/Payment Operations initiatives.
Maintains operational dashboards, KPIs, and performance reports to support visibility into daily activities.
Analyze payment trends, identify root causes of issues or performance gaps.
Research and resolve moderately complex disbursement transaction issues.
Identify workflow improvement opportunities to reduce errors, optimize efficiencies, and enhance process performance.
Support year‑end 1099 reporting and testing activities for corporate vendor payments.
Performs moderately complex money movement transaction problem resolution, reviews and updates procedures as needed.
Ensure risks related to business activities are properly identified, monitored, and controlled in alignment with risk and compliance standards.
What you have:
Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
4 years of transactional reconciliation and research analysis and/or related experience.
Working knowledge Reg E, Reg W, GAAP, and NACHA Rules.
Experience in project management.
Proficient level of business acumen in the areas of the business operations, industry practices and emerging trends required.
What sets you apart:
4+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, payment processing, or Treasury support operations.
2+ years of experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for preparing clear, data‑driven presentations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong problem-solving ability.
Ability to build trust and positive working relationships across teams.
Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $77,120.00 - $147,390.00.

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
