The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Process Engineer responsible for the Slitting process, you will have the opportunity support current production lines and develop new projects in the slitting and automated packaging area

Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support for new equipment and process changes

• Write and edit standard operating procedures, test methods, technical/validation reports, work instructions, and other related documents (VP, IQ, OQ, URS, etc.)

• Transferring and implementing processes, either from development, or from another manufacturing facility

• Developing specifications in the form of a URS for new equipment purchases

• Conduct MSA / DOE studies for products and new processes.

• Responsibility as technical lead for projects (value stream and cross functional)

• Improving and optimizing technological processes

• Conducting product validation on new production lines

• Cooperation with other departments and project teams in technology transfer

• Line support (technical and operational)

• Ensuring quality and safety on production lines

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Chemical) from accredited University AND three (3) years of experience in Slitting area
   

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• Experience in launching new production

• Demonstrated strength in engineering/technical skills

• Hands on experience with start-up, troubleshooting and commissioning of Slitting and automated packaging process

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Process Engineering or Chemical from an accredited institution

• Effective facilitation, communication, and teaching skills

• Advanced English (speaking and writing) - is a must

• Experience with SAP / MES / AutoCAD

• Experience in leading projects

Work location: Wrocław, Kwidzyńska 6

Hybrid Eligible: 4 days on site

Travel: May include up to 20% domestic/international

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
