Working as part of a cross-functional team you lead the RDQ activities for Chocolate activities required to complete new product development and maintain portfolios and/or productivity projects keeping in mind the goal to deliver the desired consumer experience.
How you will contribute
You will work to coordinate technical projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements. You will effectively support the product development manager in day to day activities and lead factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. In addition, participating and leading development activities (e.g. product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation. etc.). In this role, you will create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications and be responsible for R&D documentation, as well as ensure R&D lab set up to MDLZ standards.

What you need to know about this position:
Participate and support PDM in multiple projects, Innovations, productivity, business continuity projects and quality improvements in MENAP.
Proactively creating & implementing creative solution to complex problems and challenges.
Responsible for trials implementation, reporting progress and recommendation with technical community (MSC, Quality, R&D Community) to plan for success.
Support exploration of new ingredients, formulation and implementation of new process technologies to deliver new product development for the chocolate category across the MENAP markets.
Accountable for product specifications to achieve target product attributes.
Work in multifunctional teams, delivering timely support on relevant tasks.
Provide regular progress updates against agreed deliverables & objectives and timely communication.
Build a global Network with the R&D community across chocolate platforms & ensure full knowledge transfer & global practices implementation.
Education / Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in science or chemical/mechanical/industrial engineering
Job specific requirements:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Analytical skills: ability to identify trends and solve problems using systematic and logic approach
Adaptability & Flexibility: embracing new ideas, ability to adjust to changes and learn new skills
Critical thinking: analyze information and making sound judgments
Capability to work in a multinational environment, fostering positive relationships and communicating effectively with others.
Language: English, high proficient in both spoken and written.
