Participates in or leads the analytical, experimental, investigative, and testing efforts in support of new product development engineering.
Coordinates all phases of new product development, including research and design, financing, pricing, marketing, sales and distribution. Develops overall marketing objectives and strategy and further product development.
Works closely with customer base to identify key needs and appropriate product solutions.
Acts as a funnel for product development ideas and knows how to influence key people in order to realize commercial opportunities.
Performs analyses and prepares forecasts and recommendations in the areas of product preferences, sales coverage, market penetration, market practices and sales trends.
Researches market conditions to determine potential sales of a product. Writes profitability analysis.
Role Responsibilities
As a Specialist Product Manager, the focus will be on Equity Derivatives / Commodity Derivatives/Structured Products development team. The team looks after Pricing/Analytics/Risk/PL of such cash and derivative products by designing and enhancing software products to meet customer requirements and future-ready innovative changes. Besides working closely with colleagues in Mumbai, the role involves collaborating with internal teams like support, customer delivery, pre-sales to investigate/validate client's/prospect's issues and analyze possible solutions or workarounds. The position also contributes to the product roadmap while writing detailed Functional Specifications of features to be added to product for developers, including test cases.
• Keeping a critical eye on system usability and user experience in general, to come up with simple ideas/features that could make the system easier to implement, configure, set up, use, and maintain
• Learn & Research about the current capabilities of product and find avenues to further improve the product on a continuous basis
• Iteratively test developed software, to ensure that business requirements are met
• Generate detailed functional specifications for new features to be delivered on the product
• Review issues raised by customer/Product support team and provide timely advice and resolutions
• Keep track of changing landscape and update the product accordingly
• Analyze current product offerings and come up with ideas to improve them
• Come up with ideas to improve product coverage and efficiency
• Liaise and work closely with Developers and Quality Analyst to ensure seamless product delivery cycle
Requirements: (Minimum Qualifications)
• Experience Level: 6-9 years
• Primary Skills – Capital Markets, Derivatives trading, Options & Greeks, Risk, Hedging, Derivative Valuation & Pricing, Trade Lifecycle, Market standards, Exotic structured products, Analytical & problem solving abilities, SDLC
• Knowledge of FX, IRD, BONDS, Structured product will be a plus
• Soft Skills – Strong communication & presentation skills, Quick thinking
• Education Qualification – Bachelor/Master in engineering/commerce, FRM/CFA/CQF/MBA

FRM/CFA/CQF Charter holder
Experience in Pricing and Valuation of Listed, OTC & exotic financial derivative products
