A Day in the Life

We hire around five hundred graduates and interns annually for entry-level

positions and are recognized for fostering career growth.

The NextGen Academy is a 12-month immersive program designed to launch your career in medical technology. It offers hands-on experience and close collaboration with cross functional teams to support therapies, shape product positioning, and contribute to the launch of innovative solutions.

The program is designed to develop you into a confident and capable future professional, aligned with Medtronic’s mission to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life

Internship Details

• Start date: July
• Location: Milan
• Duration: 12 months (the contract is split into 6 months plus an additional 6 months)
• Working hours: 40 hours per week
• Work model: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Data, Reporting & Analysis

• Track implants from customer consignment using MMX (Inventory Tool)
• Prepare recurring reports on PO pending for Sales Force and follow-up
• Prepare recurring reports on Cycle counts to be performed for Sales Force
• Prepare recurring reports on expired products for Sales Force and follow-up
• Monitor incoming electronic NSO and non NSO orders

Cross Functional & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, and other functions.
• Ensure smooth communication and information flow between field teams and central offices.
• Liaise with external agencies

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Recently graduated or in the last year of bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Communications, Economics, Finance, Controlling, Marketing, or a related field
• Fluency in English and Italian
• Proficiency in using Excel
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Interest in healthcare and technology
• Able to participate full time for a 12-month programme and legally authorized to work in the respective country

Would be a plus:

• Basic knowledge of SAP
