We are looking for an enthusiastic and versatile RF Design Engineer to join our growing design team under the Microwave Communications Group. In this role, you will work on the design of a wide portfolio of products, including but not limitted to beamformer ICs, fully integrated transceivers, mmW radios for PtP, tunable filters, switches and attenuators, RF SiPs, synthesizers, and power detectors. You will have a chance to gain experience on a large number fabrication processes (BiCMOS, SOI, CMOS, GaAs), designing state-of-the-art circuits working from VHF to 110+ GHz. You will be a part of a large, multi-national design team and will be able to interact with and work with the experts in the field. 

Responsibilities:

  • Design of transistor-level circuits.

  • Design evaluation, performing first silicon characterization and detailed analysis.

  • Design and development for RF products with various process and packaging technologies.

  • Preparing required documentations and reports for product development

Minimum Requirements:

  • M.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering. B.S. Degree is also acceptable if the candidate has adequate expertise in the mentioned design fields through previous intership or co-op. 

  • Should have solid understanding of solid-state theory, integrated circuit design, microwave theory and design techniques.

  • The candidate should possess skills necessary to innovate, design, simulate and verify circuit performance at the transistor level, behavioral/architectural level, and should have a strong RF understanding.

  • Prior experience in circuit design environments such as Cadence, ADS.

  • Motivated, results oriented and organized engineer with good writing, presentation and overall communication skills.

  • Willingness and ability to learn something new quickly.

  • Strong team worker. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable taking calculated risks

  • Has a bias for action and works in collaboration with others to deliver results

Preffered Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in EE with a focus on integrated circuit design preferably working at RF and microwave frequencies.

  • Previous experience on a number of technologies, preferably including SiGe BiCMOS.

  • 2D and 3D electromagnetic simulator knowledge.

  • Experience in test equipment and RF characterization.

  • Some experience in Verilog.
