Job Description Summary:
The Occupational Therapist I (Outpatient) is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients referred to the facility. This includes patient evaluation, development and implementation of an appropriate treatment plan, delivery of treatment services, and comprehensive discharge planning. The therapist functions as an effective team member and contributes to the development and achievement of department and organizational goals and objectives.Job Description:
Kleinert Kutz is currently seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our therapy department. The ideal candidate is experienced and passionate about delivering quality care to patients with conditions or injury to the upper extremity. Experience with advanced treatment and orthotic fabrication in hand setting preferred.
Essential Functions:
Assess each patient and develop an appropriate treatment plan with measurable goals and time frames
Prepare and submit clinical and progress summaries based on identified and attained goals
Ensure that other treating medical professionals have the necessary information to appropriately evaluate the patient
Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited occupational therapy curriculum
Certification in Occupational Therapy and valid state license to practice in Kentucky and Indiana
Preferred qualification Certified Hand Therapist, or someone who has significant hand experience
