Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented GTM Engineer to support the Revenue Operations team. This role will play a key part in advancing InvoiceCloud’s mission to drive digital transformation for clients and enhance customer engagement.

The ideal candidate operates as a proactive, trusted partner—capable of managing complex responsibilities, collaborating across teams, and maintaining the high standards of professionalism and innovation that define InvoiceCloud’s culture.

**Candidate must be based in greater Boston, MA and be onsite in our Seaport Boston, MA office 2x per week **

Success Profile:

This role is anchored in our company’s core competencies. These competencies reflect the mindsets and behaviors that define success in this role. Below is how each competency translates into meaningful impact and outcomes for this position.

Results-Driven

  • Write SQL in Snowflake to build views, scoring models, and ad hoc analyses that support GTM decision-making
    • Maintain and improve pipeline and buying signal dashboards in Tableau
    • Collaborate with SDRs, AEs, and Marketing to understand workflow pain points and translate them into engineering solutions
    • Surface data quality issues and automation gaps proactively before they affect pipeline

Drives Efficiency

  • Build tables, waterfalls, and enrichment workflows in Clay that power prospecting and lead scoring
    • Design and maintain data pipelines from Clay into Salesforce, ensuring clean field mapping, deduplication, and record integrity
    • Connect and orchestrate data across the GTM stack: Clay, SFDC, Marketo, 6sense, and Snowflake
    • Develop and deploy automations that reduce manual work across Sales, Marketing, and RevOps

Takes Ownership

  • Own Clay as the primary GTM engineering platform and manage its ongoing optimization and scalability
    • Build AI-powered workflows using Claude, ChatGPT, and other LLMs to automate research, personalization, and signal processing at scale
    • Use tools like Claude Code and Lovable to rapidly prototype internal tools and workflow applications
    • Document data logic, workflow architecture, and process changes as you build

Requirements

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Strong SQL skills — comfortable writing complex queries, CTEs, and window functions
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools: LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI), prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar)
  • Experience with Clay or a strong desire to become an expert quickly — this is your primary tool
  • Familiarity with workflow automation platforms, ideally n8n or similar (Zapier, Make)
  • Experience with low-code/no-code app builders such as Lovable, Bolt, or v0
  • 1–3 years of professional experience; strong internship or project work welcome
  • Genuine interest in sales and marketing — you want to understand the GTM motion, not just build abstractions

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Salesforce data models and SFDC integrations
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, or other data warehouse tooling
  • Exposure to ABM platforms like 6sense or intent data concepts
  • Python skills for scripting, API integrations, or ML experimentation
  • Prior work in a RevOps, sales ops, or marketing ops context

Benefits:

We offer a competitive benefits program including:

  • Medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurance
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Flexible Time Off (FTO), wellbeing days, paid holidays, and summer Fridays
