Software Engineer 3

Job Summary & Responsibilities

• Design, document, implement, test and maintain software for semiconductor tools. Participate in product requirements definition with peers, customers, management. Estimate and develop software on schedule with high internal and external quality. Develop and maintain efficient, robust software for new and existing systems. Translate customer needs into software requirements. Maintain and improve the performance of existing software. Analyze and resolve issues reported by internal and external customers. Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary. Understand metrology tool platforms and technologies from a systems perspective. Demonstrate effective communication skills within a diverse team

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related engineering plus Three (3) years of experience in a related occupation. Skills required: C# programming language; Software for 64 bit MS Windows desktop software using WinForms or WPF; Device drivers for industrial robot, using Modbus, RS-232, TCP/IP, and EtherCAT; Semiconductor automation/GEM; Calculus, linear algebra, and probability; and GIT. The skills, knowledge and/or experience listed here need not be maintained over the full term of experience noted above
