About this Position

The Investment & Savings Products division is seeking a candidate to fill the Vice President role over our Advisory Managed Account business. The Vice President (VP) is responsible for leading the Lifetime Investment Program for our Advisor business operations team day-to-day functions on the Pershing platform in servicing 100,000 client accounts and opening 125+ new accounts per day on Primerica Brokerage Services, Inc (PBSI), an introducing broker-dealer that clears through Pershing LLC. This role is responsible for overseeing the cashiering, transfer of assets, case management, and overlay/trading management functions. This role is also responsible for establishing and maintaining the team's policies, procedures, and SLAs to be consistent with Primerica best practices. This position is also the liaison responsible for managing the third-party operational relationship with Pershing's Vice President and Director-level counterparts for each function. This position is also the primary ISP Ops liaison for Lifetime Day to day operational items associated with internal stakeholders including, but limited to, legal, compliance, operational assessment, finance, marketing, and operational assessment.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Responsible for insuring that all procedures and controls necessary to support the Lifetime operational functions/Advisory Accounts are identified, established, and adopted by the team. Enhancing policies and procedures to address changing business needs and requirement/findings from internal assessments.
  • Proactively identifying and guiding adopting productivity and job restructuring improvement opportunities within the team to support and sustain business growth.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders including legal, compliance, marketing, internal audit, finance, and other Ops areas to work through escalated exceptions/issues. This includes updating client agreements and disclosure documents, distributing client notifications, supporting regulatory inquiries, testing policies/procedures, internal and third-party audits.
  • Working with the Pershing service team to ensure responsive and service levels and response as needed by the Primerica team to process business or work through exceptions/issues. Prioritizing and managing the Open Items list of things needing attention.

    Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office Suite experience (including Word, Excel, Access)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency and experience with Pershing's NetX360 and Wove systems preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience working in the financial services industry with Broker Dealer related roles and functions.
  • Securities Series 7 & 24 (or equivalent) are required.
  • Operational experience with a general securities introducing broker-dealer.
  • Formal supervisory responsibilities, including performance management, staffing, employee relations & compensation.
