Solution Strategist

What you’ll do

• Participate in the blueprinting sessions and provide consultative guidance on technical + functional best practices to the client and internal team/s

• Ensure business processes adhere to industry best practices and align with client objectives and business model

• Mentor Architects and consultants to configure the o9 platform optimally to solve planning problems and provide data driven business insights 

• Oversee the execution of data analytics and modeling methods by Business Analysts, Data Scientists, and Integration Specialists.

• Work with internal Research and Development teams to improve solution capabilities 

• Work with client, cross-functional teams, and IT and business stakeholders, to ensure successful planning and execution of project and enabling alignment on any contentious issues, prioritization

• Provide guidance, feedback, coaching, mentoring and developmental experiences to project team members

• Ensure solutions team adheres to o9 methodologies and quality standards.

• Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation resource for business / data decisions across programs

• Travel- 30-50%

What you’ll have

Experience: 

• Deep knowledge of best practices in supply chain planning concepts, processes, organization, KPIs & optimization

• Proven ability to collaborate with and drive cross-functional, interdepartmental teams and technical resources to meet goals

• Prior experience in advanced planning systems

• Firsthand experience leading a team through the full lifecycle of a supply chain planning solution implementation including business requirement gathering, solution design & development, UAT/SIT, go-live/cutover and value realization

• Experience using agile methodology to deliver large scale enterprise implementations

• Experience in statistics, machine learning, optimization.

• Education: Master’s Degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields with a concentration in operations or analytics is preferred
   

Skills: 

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint for analysis and presentation

• Strong verbal, written, presentation and demonstration / training skills are required
   

Characteristics: 

• High empathy for customer’s business problems 

• Strong ability to lead by example and demonstrate proficiency in both product and domain

• Ability to work in teams, distributed across locations and time zones 

• Ability to identify key insights and critical thinking to prioritize and focus on the highest value opportunities
