About the Role

As a Head of Professional Services Sales, APAC within FIS’s International Banking & Payments organisation, you will lead a high-performing team of sales professionals focused on driving growth across payments solutions with a strong Professional Services alignment. In this hybrid commercial + services leadership role, you'll shape go-to-market strategy, strengthen PS involvement in the sales cycle, and ensure seamless collaboration between Sales, Solution Consulting, Professional Services, and Delivery teams.

You will play a key role in expanding FIS’s footprint across APAC by coaching your team to win new business, grow existing accounts, and position FIS as the leading end-to-end partner for banking and payment technology and services.

What You’ll Be Doing:
 

Team Leadership & Performance

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales executives to exceed revenue, margin, and PS-attach targets.

• Drive a culture of accountability, performance excellence, and continuous improvement.

• Monitor team performance, set targets, and run weekly pipeline and forecast reviews.
 

Sales Strategy & Execution

• Define and execute sales strategies for payments solutions with emphasis on Professional Services scoping, pricing, and attach rates.

• Strengthen PS integration in the deal lifecycle—ensuring early engagement, accurate scoping, and high-quality handoff to delivery teams (aligned with PS ceremony frameworks).

• Drive new logo acquisition and upsell opportunities across the UK & Europe region.

• Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
 

Professional Services Alignment

• Partner closely with the Professional Services leadership team to match pipeline with delivery capacity, forecast demand, and ensure resource alignment.

• Lead the team to identify, package, and position PS offerings (implementations, consulting, migrations) as part of holistic value-based solution proposals.

• Support development of PS-led propositions and refine pricing/estimation inputs in collaboration with PS, Solution Consulting, and Product.
 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with Product, Solution Consulting, Client Engagement, and Delivery teams to ensure a unified go-to-market motion

• Influence deal strategy, commercial positioning, and win themes across complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

• Represent the IBP & PS business at industry events, key client meetings, and strategic forums.
 

Client Outcomes & Governance

• Ensure excellence in client engagement throughout the sales cycle, maintaining high customer satisfaction and ensuring smooth PS handoffs.

• Champion quality, compliance, and deal governance to safeguard revenue, margin, delivery readiness, and client success.

What You’ll Bring:
 

Experience & Background

• Proven experience in sales leadership within fintech, banking & payments, or enterprise SaaS, ideally with exposure to Professional Services sales, consulting, or delivery environments.

• Deep understanding of banking and payments technology, enterprise sales cycles, and PS motions (implementation, migration, advisory, managed services).

• Experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams.

• Strong commercial acumen and ability to shape complex solution & PS propositions.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, executive-level influence, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Ability to lead through change and drive results in a fast-paced, matrixed organisation.
