Barbaricum is seeking an Exercise Planner to support the planning, coordination, and execution of cyber training events and exercises for Department of Defense (DoD) customers. The selected candidate will manage multiple projects and training initiatives, ensuring effective execution of cyber training scenarios that support mission readiness and operational objectives.
The Exercise Planner will work closely with government stakeholders, subject matter experts, and operational teams to develop exercise plans, coordinate resources, and oversee event execution. The successful candidate will leverage strong project management and organizational skills to support cyber program activities, testing and training events, strategic planning efforts, and multidomain range integration initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute cyber training events, exercises, and operational activities supporting Department of Defense (DoD) mission objectives.
- Develop exercise plans, schedules, timelines, objectives, and supporting documentation to ensure successful event execution.
- Coordinate with government stakeholders, training teams, subject matter experts, and operational personnel to support exercise design and implementation.
- Manage multiple projects and training events simultaneously while ensuring adherence to schedules, priorities, and mission requirements.
- Support the development of realistic cyber training scenarios, exercise injects, and operational activities that align with training objectives.
- Coordinate logistical, administrative, and resource requirements necessary to support training events and exercises.
- Monitor exercise execution, track action items, and support issue resolution to ensure successful completion of training objectives.
- Prepare reports, after-action reviews, briefings, and recommendations to support continuous improvement of training and exercise programs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams supporting cyber operations, strategic planning, testing, training events, and multidomain range integration activities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, cybersecurity requirements, and applicable DoD standards throughout exercise planning and execution.
Required Qualifications:
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Must meet DoDM 8140.03 IAT II requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with different scopes and timelines.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and manage cyber training scenarios effectively, both independently and in a team environment, with minimal supervision.
- Experience in planning and managing cyber security training events within the DoD community.
