Job Description

Position: Commercial Manager, Mumbai

Business: Property and Asset Management, Mumbai

What this job involves

You will be in charge of the entire Commercial Area Services provided at the site. You must oversee the daily operations of a commercial area to ensure it runs efficiently, meets sales targets, and provides excellent customer service. Your role will encompass and not be limited to:

1. Procurement Management

  • Facilitate procurement activities across the organization, including:

    • CAPEX Procurement – Spend value exceeding ₹100 Cr

    • Lease Enabling Procurement – ₹10–15 Cr

    • IT, Admin, HR & Marketing Procurement – ₹15 Cr

  • Ensure timely sourcing of materials and services with optimal cost and quality.

  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships for effective supply chain management.

2. Tendering & Contract Management

  • Conduct pre-qualification of bidders based on technical and financial criteria.

  • Manage the complete tendering process including RFQs, bid evaluation, and negotiations.

  • Draft, review, and finalize contracts and agreements for:

    • Contractors and suppliers

    • Admin, HR, and Marketing vendors (Engagement Letters)

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.

3. SAP & Procurement Operations

  • Process and manage:

    • Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs)

    • Vendor Registration

    • Service Master & Material Master creation in SAP

  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry and documentation within SAP systems.

4. Invoice Processing & Payments

  • Oversee invoice verification and processing for all procurement categories.

  • Prepare and validate Certificates of Payment (COP).

  • Coordinate with finance for timely vendor payments.

5. Budget Monitoring & MIS Reporting

  • Track procurement spends against budgets (pre-SAP responsibility; post-SAP coordination with Development Team).

  • Prepare and monitor Budget vs Actual reports.

  • Generate MIS reports related to PRs, POs, and procurement activities as required.

  • Provide insights and recommendations for cost optimization.

Clients:

 You will be working in Commercial Building located at Mumbai.

Qualifications & Skills Required: 

 Bachelor’s degree in engineering / commerce / management

  MBA (Supply Chain / Finance) preferred

  8–12 years of experience in procurement/commercial roles

  Experience in handling large-scale procurement (₹100 Cr+ preferred)
