Job Description

We see the world differently at Capstone Investment Advisors. You will, too.

Capstone Investment Advisors, LLC (“Capstone”) is a global asset manager, dedicated to exploring alpha opportunities in derivatives and complementary strategies that persist across market cycles. With approximately $12 billion of AUM (as of December 1, 2025) and 330 employees, Capstone is headquartered in New York with offices in London, Amsterdam, Stamford, Los Angeles, Boston, Tokyo, Milan, Texas, and Maryland. Since 2004, through strategic insight, market-leading expertise, and advanced technology, we have sought to anticipate and harness the complexities of world markets, creating unique opportunities for our clients, team, and industry.

With our sophisticated, global client base, we recognize that our success is deeply connected to real people. For that reason, we take a human approach to everything we do, focusing largely on collaborative performance. Our workflow and process are built around the belief that by sharing ideas, we achieve greater outcomes. This gives you greater access to resources, direct exposure to senior leadership, and new opportunities to experiment and innovate.

The Role:

Capstone is looking for an experienced, forward-thinking People Business Partner to lead our People agenda across the London office and broader EMEA region while shaping key global talent and development initiatives. As the senior People lead in-region, you’ll partner closely with UK/EMEA leadership as a trusted advisor on talent strategy, organizational design, performance, promotions, and other core people matters.

You’ll play a key role in shaping our culture, strengthening engagement, and ensuring UK/EMEA needs are reflected in global programs and policies. Globally, you’ll help advance talent management efforts, particularly for investment staff, including career pathways, succession planning, capability assessments, and high‑potential identification. You’ll also influence the global L&D strategy, support a meaningful performance management process, and work closely with People Operations, Recruitment, and Total Rewards to deliver a cohesive employee experience.

We’re looking for someone curious, commercially minded, and proactive, who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and balances strategic thinking with hands‑on execution. This role reports to the Head of People and offers a unique opportunity to shape both regional and global talent outcomes.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Lead all UK/EMEA employee relations matters, including advanced and complex ER cases, working closely with legal counsel to ensure compliant, consistent, and risk‑aligned outcomes
  • Drive engagement, culture, and change initiatives across the region to support a high‑performance, inclusive, and values‑aligned workplace
  • Ensure UK‑specific people strategy is integrated into global people programs, enabling seamless execution across time zones and teams.
  • Partner with Global People Operations to align UK/EMEA processes, policies, and employee experience with firmwide standards while ensuring regional needs and legal requirements are met.
  • Act as a key connector between Global People Operations, Recruitment and UK leadership to ensure an integrated and seamless employee experience
