We are seeking a highly motivated Software Developer in Test Intern to join our team. In this role, you will assist and participate in the development and improvement of our software testing platforms. You will be deeply involved in the development and improvement of our automated tests as well as new initiatives. You will play a key role in achieving our strategic initiatives related to automation testing. The projects you will work on are related to our task management system, giving you the chance to contribute directly to the company’s growth. You will collaborate with platform squad and the marketing team and have the opportunity to apply theory to real world problems as well as learn through the entire experience.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development, testing, and maintenance of software testing solutions.

  • Automate testing for new functionalities as well as implementing quick sanity tests.

  • Collaborate to translate requirements into technical solutions.

  • Write clean, efficient, and scalable code, along with comprehensive tests to ensure reliability and performance.

  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

  • Help troubleshoot, debug, and optimize the system.

  • Support in deploying software updates and maintaining system performance.

  • The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders. 

 

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or other modern programming languages.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Good understanding of cloud architecture and data structures.

  • Logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem-solving

  • Comfortability designing and implementing database structures to solve real-world problems effectively
