About the role

Do you thrive at the intersection of business strategy, software engineering execution and technical leadership?

As Software Execution Lead, you will play a pivotal role in translating business priorities into successful delivery, enabling strategic transformation across the Sales & Marketing Domain.

This is an opportunity to influence decisions, build alignment across business and technology, and drive meaningful outcomes in a complex, international environment.

Meet Your Future Team

As Software Execution Lead, you will play a central role in driving strategic execution across the Sales & Marketing Domain. Working at the intersection of business and technology, you will help transform priorities into tangible outcomes by ensuring that software development initiatives are delivered with clarity, pace, and quality.

You are responsible for driving the successful delivery of software development outcomes by coordinating execution across cross-functional teams.

Working closely with Senior Managers, Product Owners, Solution Architects, Engineering teams, and shared enabling functions, you will ensure alignment between business priorities, solution architecture, technical implementation, and development workflows. You will support aligned, transparent, and scalable delivery across multiple initiatives.

Acting as a bridge between planning and implementation, you will coordinate across teams, monitor progress, remove roadblocks, and ensure that deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and to expected quality standards.

This is a cross-functional delivery role requiring strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on execution excellence, accountability, and results. Success in this role requires the ability to influence and lead without formal authority across multiple teams and stakeholders.

What you will do

Initiative & Delivery Leadership - Drive end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives by coordinating agile teams, managing dependencies, resources, and risks to deliver predictable outcomes.

Strategic Planning & Execution - Translate business strategy into clear priorities, roadmaps, investment decisions, and measurable outcomes that deliver long-term value.

Stakeholder Management & Communication - Build strong partnerships across business and technology, ensuring alignment through clear communication, transparency, and effective governance.

Operational Leadership - Establish scalable governance, operating models, and performance practices that enable efficient and transparent execution.

Risk & Issue Management - Identify and mitigate delivery, technical, and organisational risks to improve predictability and enable informed decision-making.

Continuous Improvement - Champion continuous improvement by optimising processes, sharing best practices, and strengthening delivery excellence across the organisation.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidates will have experience working within software development environments, with a strong understanding of modern software engineering principles, the software development lifecycle, and collaboration with technical teams to ensure successful software delivery.

Furthermore, you have:

  • Strong background in software delivery, project or program management, software engineering, or business delivery roles with the ability to manage risk, timelines, and delivery effectively.
  • Proven ability to manage complex initiatives across multiple teams or departments.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working with distributed or externally managed development teams is an advantage.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, agile, or technology-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with delivery frameworks such as Agile, Scrum, Prince2, IPMA or Lean.
  • Change management or process improvement understanding.
  • Engaged and solution-oriented, with a practical approach to identifying issues early and resolving them efficiently.
  • Great analytical skills, with the ability to assess problems, implement effective mitigations, and uphold quality assurance standards.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce, sales, and marketing is considered an asset
