Job Description
Position Highlights:
- Position: Minimally Invasive General Surgeon – fellowship trained with Accredited Fellowship Council Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship preferred
- Location: Swedish Hospital, 5140 N. California Ave., Galter Medical Pavilion Suite 560, Chicago, IL 60625
- Opportunity for additional access across Endeavor NorthShore - Evanston Hospital, Glenbrook Hospital, Highland Park Hospital – for foregut surgery and research.
- Full Time - direct medical services for 40 hours per week, 46 weeks per year for full-time status. General surgery call approximately every 4 - 5 weeks.

- Be part of an integrated, nationally recognized organization with a physician-led medical group and embedded service lines. The selected candidate will join a multispecialty Division of General Surgery consisting of 30 physicians across five hospitals, including four surgeons dedicated to Swedish Hospital.
- The division includes fellowship-trained specialists in colorectal surgery, acute care/trauma, and surgical oncology/hepatobiliary surgery, as well as eight fellowship-trained minimally invasive surgeons. Surgeons have access to state-of-the-art robotic-assisted technology, including the da Vinci Surgical System.
- Salary range: [$322,645- $723,451]. The pay rate offered is determined within the pay range and is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to FTE, prior experience, certifications, degrees, subspecialties, projected volumes, and quality performance measures
Qualifications:
Minimum Education Level
- Graduate of an accredited and recognized medical school required.
Minimum Licensure Requirements
- Eligible for medical licensing in the State of Illinois.
Minimum Certification Requirements
- Board Certification in General Surgery; Minimally Invasive Fellowship preferred
