3-month Internship in the Vendor Management & Support Team

The Role

The Intern will contribute to several key initiatives led by the Vendor Management team. These include updating entity information across our technology supplier base, supporting the implementation of a new Software Asset Management (SAM) solution, and aligning vendor data with systems used by the security team.

This role requires regular interaction with external vendors, strong organisational capabilities, and confidence working with data and technology platforms. It offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in vendor management, procurement processes, and SAM implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Verify and update entity name changes for critical vendors.

  • Liaise with vendor account management teams to ensure accurate and up‑to‑date information.

  • Track, document, and report progress on assigned tasks.

Assist with the setup and implementation of the Software Asset Management system.

  • Support configuration and administration of the new Software Asset Management platform under VM team guidance.

  • Input and maintain contract and vendor information, including cost data.

Analyse vendor records within the Vanta platform and align them with VM team documentation.

  • Contribute to data cleansing and remediation activities in collaboration with the security team.

Skills and Competencies

Essential

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; able to break down complex issues logically.

  • Collaborative, professional, and able to work effectively within a team.

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.

  • Comfortable working with systems, structured workflows, and data.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Good Excel skills are essential.

Desirable

  • Exposure to Software Asset Management tools (e.g., Setyl, Flexera).

  • Experience supporting projects through internships, placements, or graduate programmes.

  • Interest in vendor management, procurement, or Software Asset Management.

Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication.

  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple tasks under time pressure.

Requirements:

To be considered for the internship programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • You must have the ability to work without a need for current or future visa sponsorship

  • You must be available to work 40 hours per week, across Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9:00am - 6:00pm
